I have been going to Dr Shao on and off since 2006 or so. If I can't fix the problem with a hot shower or heating pad then I go see Dr. I highly recommend her.

if my insurance which is kaiser would cover it i would be there every week. susan knows what she is doing. i saw her after i had br cancer many yrs ago.it helped with side effects of chemo. i try to go now as often as i can as it just makes me feel better all around. my daughter and husband have also gone to her with great results. It does not hurt at all, and is a great alternative to drugs. i would recommend her and often do to anyone seeking relief with out drugs.

I see Dr. Shao once a month.... the acupuncture makes my back feel better, but just as important, I love just sitting and talking with her. She makes you feel she has all the time in the world for you. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful. I always look forward to my monthly visit.

I had a terrible ankle injury and was on crutches. Went to Dr. Shao by friend's recommendation. I never believed in acupuncture before and was also scared of trying the needles.
Dr. Shao patiently answered all my questions and put me at ease. The pain was almost gone after first visit and I got rid of the crutches after two treatment . My ankle recovered completely after about 8 sessions. She also took care of my "mouse elbow" that was developed at work.
I highly recommend Dr. Shao. She's so experienced and effective. The needles are not scary at all. =)

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking

They would never do that! Their full attention is always on me

The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand. I will definitely recommend them to people I know. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience.
