Horrible Dentist. I had 2 extracts and an implant that was not done properly. Dr. Keeffe wore latex gloves, after I told the office I was allergic to latex, and I had a bad reaction from it. My tooth next to the implant became loose due to Dr. Keeffe cutting my gums on the good tooth. I couldnt eat for 3 months on that side of my mouth. I ended up losing the implant, so I saw another Dr. This dr was able to fix the mistakes and get me most of my money back on the implant that Dr. Keeffe did, but I was overcharged by $104.00 and Dr. Keeffe will not give that back. Dr. Keeffe is very rude and I would recommend finding a different dentist.

I had been going to Dr. Keeffe for over 30 years. My kids and grandkids are now also patients. He has always been kind and honest. He even had his staff watch my baby when I couldn’t find a babysitter, this was years ago. I will not go to anyone else. He goes above and beyond and is always willing to work with you. If you are looking for a dentist, look no further. You won’t find a better one in Tucson!

I had an utterly horrible experience with this dentist. He had been my regular dentist for several years though I never needed anything major done. I recently got an infected root & was told by Dr. Keeffe that I needed an implant. He barely took the time to explain anything to me. I had to call twice to ask questions. This should have been my queue to run far away but since he had been my dentist over the years I felt confident in his ability. He did not prepare me for this procedure at all. I was barely numbed up and when I asked him to use some additional Novocain he argued with me that I should be numb. He then proceeded to remove my tooth & insert the implant. This required a tremendous amount of drilling (so much that he was grunting & using such force that I was being pushed off of the chair. His assistant was also using water to irrigate which was running down my throat & gagging me. I can equate this this to my perception of water boarding would be like. After the procedure was finished & I got home, may face proceeded to swell. I was so blown up that I missed a week of work. I called Dr. Keeffe’s office to see if it was normal & was never given the courtesy of a return phone call. I went back the following week for a post procedure checkup. I was asking Dr. Keeffe questions about the procedure when he pushed my head back into the dental chair with his fingertips. This is inexcusable behavior! I decided to see a different dentist to be sure that I was healing OK. I was then informed that the implant was done incorrectly and would most likely fail. This ended up being the case and I have now undergone oral surgery to fix the mess. I will need more corrective treatment in the following several months which comes with an additional price tag and time off work. Run far away from this dentist!
