I stopped going to see this dentist, even though he seems skillful, because he has two hygienists working for him and I tried them both and found them both to be awful. The first one kept asking me if I wanted an x-ray and I said, "I don't know, will my insurance pay for it?" She ignored my question and asked me again if I wanted the x-ray. I answered her the same way again, "I don't know, will my insurance pay for it?" She blew up and yelled at me, "It's not my job to know what your insurance pays for, don't task me!" Seriously? If it wasn't her job, she should have run out and asked whose ever job it was, instead of blowing up. I don't need to pay people to lose their cool and yell at me over nothing. So next time I needed my teeth cleaned I tried the other hygienist. She was just as bad but in a different way. Her charting was totally untrue. For instance, she asked me if I flossed my teeth, I told her I did, once a day, but that I used a toothpick more often. So she charted, "patient doesn't floss but uses a toothpick.", which is not what I said. So, I started going to another dentist for cleanings, and since the cleanings came with exams by the dentist afterward, I ended up not going back to this dentist anymore.

Not only could I tell that the practiced good oral hygiene themselves, they had one of the brightest smiles I've ever seen. It gave me a lot more confidence that I was seeing someone who knew what they were talking about. Dr Montford is very professional, skillful and gentle. He spent a long time considering and explaining my treatment plan. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. They are absolutely expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I would rate him 5 stars but the system here won't seem to let me.
