I came here for my Invisalign treatment 2 years ago. At the time, Creative Smile told me that my insurance would cover $2000 and I would have to pay the remaining $2700 out of pocket.
A few months before my treatment was complete, I was told that because Creative Smile is not in my network, my insurance will not cover any of it and I will have to pay the remaining $2000. The staff here said that they received confirmation from my insurance company that the $2000 will be covered, but when I called the insurance company, they said that they did no such thing prior to the commencement of the treatment. Of course, I have no written proof of such authorization because Creative Smile never got it from my insurance company; they only received the verbal authorization.
I am livid since $2000 is no small amount. You can be sure that I will go to the ADA and California dental boards about this.
I've had to come back every 5 weeks for a check-up. About 90% of the time, I've had to wait at least 15-45 minutes to be seated. This is extremely annoying since most my appointments last 5 or 10 minutes.
