I was truly amazed at the broad approach this provider took that considered so many aspects of my life outside of their specialty. Amazing!

I went here maybe 2 or 3 times. It was one of those situations where i didnt have time to find another dentist so I just settled and came back to this place. The woman at the front desk is very nice, the doctor is also but he can be a tad bit rude. I dont have insurance and have had problems with past dentists so I cant always go to the dentist when needed. He then began to lecture me about how I probably spend lots of money on shopping, coffee, nails etc and how I should set that money aside to go to the dentist....what? I dont have extra money for things like that so for him to assume such a thing was a bit rude. I also noticed that the bottom row of his teeth were visibly brown. I dont know if he chews tobacco or not...thats his choice but it just seems a bit strange to be lectured about flossing more when the doctors teeth arent in excellent shape.

I also had a few fillings done. One in particular has been hurting since I left his office. Another dentist I went to said it looks like cheap filling. I paid full price for it but i guess I was given the cheap stuff. I feel a bit cheated. I would not recommend going to this office

Saint George Family Dental is dishonest and unfriendly. The dentist tried to extract as much cash from my insurance company as possible.

He would schedule half my cleaning one day, then the other half a week later so he can bill the company for two office visits. He would do the same thing for filling in cavities. He once called me in for a bunch of x-rays, then a week later called me in to the office just to show me the x-rays and schedule a third appointment for another week. I drove across town just so he could talk to me for literally less than two minutes. When I asked why we couldn't have just done this over the phone his secretary just shrugged at me. He can't bill the insurance company for a phone call, that's why. This is extremely inconvenient.

He balked at pulling my wisdom teeth because they were too deeply embedded in my gums, and he was afraid of liability. He wanted me to go to an oral surgeon.

My brother once waited 2 hours in the lobby for a scheduled appointment, and finally decided it wasn't worth the wait. As soon as he started to leave they jumped up and said that they could fit him right in, and gave him some other poor saps appointment, who I can only assume filled his spot in the waiting game.

He actually isn't too bad at his craft, his fillings have stood up pretty well to the test of time. It's only his customer service I have a problem with, which I would describe as terrifyingly abysmal. Hellish would not be too strong of a word.

Eventually he stopped accepting our insurance company completely, and we switched dentists. Our new dentist doesn't have any of these problems. My new dentist also took all 4 wisdom teeth out in one visit with no problems whatsoever. No oral surgeon or other hoops to jump through.

The point of this review is that there are better dentists in Fresno, who won't waste your time like this guy.

I was seen almost as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't have to reorganize my day around my appointment at all. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something.
