i am in agreement with the previous, dissatisfied patient of Dr. Hanlon-Rogers. Very nice woman but, as a dentist, I'm shocked that she is still in practice. My teeth (and mouth and jaw) are so completely ruined and I'm afraid to proceed with dental care (dentist, orthodontist and periodontist), for fear of the forecasted expenses for corrections. What started out, as a seemingly, "perfect fit" has turned into a disaster. My appearance and, more importantly, my speech is compromised and just wrong.
what a NIGHTMARE!!

I was seeing Dr. Hanlon Rogers who originally seemed to be a gentle and caring person. I thought I had finally found the right dentist. After having me extract 8 teeth she made a partial that wouldn't even fit in a horse's mouth. When I complained about how the partial didn't fit, it was TOO BIG she decided I should go elsewhere for treatment. The surgeon that extracted my teeth asked me for the partial which Dr. Hanlon wouldn't give me so that I could have it the day of the extractions. After seeing what she tried putting in my mouth I completed understood why she didn't want a surgeon to see it. I honestly met Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This dentist was extremely moody. Good luck to anyone who uses her.

Dr. Hanlon Rogers had me pay for dental work while I had 2 dental insurances who the secretary had called at one of my visits. The insurance said that the extractions were covered 100%. That money was refunded to me after I called her.

Previously she was paid in full by the dental company and had me also pay up front. When she received the payment from the insurance she didn't send me a refund for the money I paid nor did she leave a credit on my account. She wrote the money off at the end of the year. When I returned to her office I reminded her that I still had a credit on my account. She did at that point adjust my bill. Had I not mentioned it, she would have kept the money. So BEWARE if you make payments.

Prior to Dr. Hanlon extracting some of my teeth she sent me to 2 specialist and wasted my time and money with these visits as she had decided she would now extract them since the specialist were charging too much. Yet she charged the insurance the same amount! Why waste my time while I had a bad infection running back and forth to specialist? Why not just extract them?
She only extracted 3-4 of the 8. One was a root canal that I paid over $900 out of my pocket. A specialist questioned why she had me have a root canal on a tooth that she should have known could not be saved. So that tooth cost over $900 plus the extraction of I believe $179.00

All I have to say is that she was by far the worst dentist I have ever seen. I now suffer with panic attacks every day since I cannot chew my food and choke all the time.
