Everyday I look at my smile I'm upset that I chose to go to Dr. Banks's office. I should have known after the brief "consultation" that this would not pan out the way I wanted. Each visit I'm always questioned "why are here?" UMMM check you records! MIchelle is very courteous, so no complaints with the front staff. It appears that some changes really need to happen in this office...first being Dr. Banks taking more time to spend with his patients and listening to their concerns--not brushing them off like they're obsessed. The background music in the office was terrible. Who plays hip hop/R&B in a professional office?? Sir please put some elevator music on or none.

I went there years ago for my dental needs in early 2000 and my son is now going. Dr. Banks is committed to making his patients have the best smile in MD. I was very pleased with the final results and reveal of my new & improved smile and I can wait for the confidence booster for my son when he gets his. Michelle is awesome now as she was back then.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. I wanted to get as much information as possible about the treatment and what to expect. I got NOTHING.. my consultation was in a room full of other patients having monthly visits. There was no privacy what so ever. And having Dr. Banks making his comments in this public setting amongst people you do not know was HORRIBLE. Yes, we were all there for the same reason, but as with any other doctors visit, you don't want your business shared with others. After I had my braces put on, I got a short conversation from the front desk receptionist that went like this "brush after every meal and floss at least twice a day. Any questions?" While she was very nice, I had so many questions that I felt more comfortable asking Dr. Banks the one who is trained and licensed. Once I got home that night, I was really pissed. Here I am trying to make myself better and clearly chose the wrong person to better this crucial part of myself. Their staff is very friendly and professional. on my visits they were the best part of it. Since I dealt and talked to them more than Dr. Banks. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. A few times I wasted time going to the office pointing out things that didnt look right. EVERYTIME..these things were all routine and perfectly normal. Had I received a look over by Dr. Banks after the ASSISTANT tightened my wires, I could have saved a lot of my time. You pay a lot of money for this type of treatment. Who wants to pay for something they do not understand. Yes, I understand you need your teeth straight, but seriously it really seems like Dr. Banks either has lost his passion for his work, or is very selective over who he interacts with professionally.
