DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! They are a JOKE OF A DENTAL OFFICE!!

We had just moved to the Gaithersburg area and in the process of changing all of our medical stuff from Silver Spring to here. My husband needed to see a dentist so we decided to make an appt with Kentlands because they are less than 5 mins from our home. After making the appt and finally having a chance to review their New Patient forms we had to walk out!! One form has to do with releasing information, they claim to insurance company, but it does not say that on the form. The other was to cancel within 48 hours of appt or you will be charged $75. Come on, every doctor we have and every dentist we have spoken to has NEVER HEARD of this. The paper work also contradicts itself because it also indicates that you DO NOT NEED TO SIGN (but if you don't then they wont see you)! This place is absolutely ridiculous and a joke!!

They try not to, but sometimes it happens.

Every single time, even if it's been months since my last appointment!!

Absolutely! I never have a problem!
Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
Does this provider have a good professional reputation within your community?
Not really, it could be better

I have already warned everyone I know not to go here. They told me everything was covered by the insurance company. LIES. The forced me to prepay all of my work, and when I went to cancel the last third of my work they refused to give me a refund. They said the money was all used up. They put in crowns that were not covered. They did xrays and an exam, and told me it was covered but it wasn't. I would ask you to walk, NO, RUN!! away from the business.

After reading all the reviews for this office I was really torn as to should I go or should I not. On the positive side it was close to my home, but on the negative there were much more bad reviews than good one. Since pain can not wait I took my chances and I am glad I did because it was nothing like I read. I went directly to the office because I was in pain, and since I have no insurance I wanted to know how much it would cost and how long I would have to wait to be able to see a doctor. The front desk was really nice, the manager came to assist me right away and since I was in crazy pain she asked me to fill out paperwork, when I asked her how much it would be she said that exam and xray would be on the house. I really couldn't believe it... especially at a doctors office in this generation. I saw doctor Martin, she was great, she explained step by step what needed to be done. I then spoke to the office manager again and she made it very easy to get my treatment, even gave me 15% off... I'm not sure what has changed in this office but I am glad it did cause I left there with 0 pain and a smile on my face... Thank you Kentlands!

No, they were able to provide everything they said they would

Easily the worst dental experience of my life. The wait was forever long, the dentist (Dr Hayes) was completely unprofessional and rude. She over-dramatized my cavity and recommended crowns, fillings, and even an extraction. I knew she was fishing to make money so I got a second opinion. I didn't need any of it - just one filling.

A joke of a practice. My new dentist told me that Dr Hayes was way too aggressive in her treatment plan. Don't know about you, but I don't want my dentist to be aggressive and looking to make money off of me.
