I was pleased with the dental work performed at this office - they always did a thorough job in a professional and gentle manner. During the several years I was a client of theirs however, there were seemingly constant billing issues. I personally believe that the person who handles their billing and deals with the insurance companies is not suited to this type of role but is in this position because she is the dentist's wife. Despite frustration with billing issues, most of which I viewed as lack of attention to detail on her part, she was always at least friendly up until the final billing issue I had with them. I finally left and found another dentist because there was a discrepancy over a bill and after several phone conversations trying to sort out where the discrepancy was coming from I let her know I was very unhappy with the repeated billing issues. In reaction to my criticism she acted in a very unprofessional and immature manner the likes of which I have never experienced at a dentists office before or since. I was never able to speak to Dr. Thomas directly about these issues because she claimed that he was mad at me too and did not want to speak with me - whether that is true or not I will never know. If it is true I find it very unprofessional on his part that he would take her side in the issue without ever bothering to reach out to me, the client, to hear my side of the story before passing judgement on the situation.
