Horrible experience! They billed ME because the receptionist forgot to send it in to my insurance on time. I tried to communicate with Dr. Merlino, but that's like talking to a wall. I am in the process of going through the Better Business Bureau and the local magistrate to settle this dispute. just wish I never set foot in her office. My daughters cleaning was cancelled the day of and rescheduled for 5 months later. She ended up with 2 cavities. So between my credit being affected and my daughters teeth that were neglected, I am deciding how far I should take this. Save yourself the hassle and find a decent dentist, because she is far from that.
She advertises a half off day and I called to schedule an appointment months in advance. They ask what you'll need done and then say they'll get back to you. Then they call back and apologize that the day that half off procedures are to be done is fully scheduled. They then try to get you to make an appointment at regular office rate. I realize that she needs to make money, but on her website, this ad is still up weeks after the supposed full appointment schedule. A real bait and switch and I would expect it from most, but she puts herself out there as a good Christian and also speaks of her mission trips etc. Be wary of any who need to use Christ to help them get clients. So sad.
