BAD. Maxwell was my wife’s counselor. My goal in writing this is not to degrade nor discourage: I’m at peace but owe it to the world to simply provide to you a WARNING with real data. This is not a presentation of what I think is her processes: although that would be quite interesting to you. But this is to acknowledge that this person provided and solicited personal information outside of her office: as told to me by consoler Liz Marushin, Maxwell sent Marushin a text during my session regarding Maxwell discussion with my wife. Another example is the multiple communications these two had discussing me and various personal concepts without my permission. Yet another example of Maxwell after I switched counselor was leaving voice mail to my counselor which is a Doctor of Psychology, specifically about me – and as told to me by this Doctor, Maxwell was totally against the law and moral code of the profession for Maxwell to do such. There you have it. I’ve done my civic duty. Best wishes with your endeavors.

It's like one hour feels like 5 minutes. She is very clear. Love her most of the time. If she was not my doc. she would be my best friend. She would be fun to hangout with. If we are still alive in 99 years we could watch the eclipse together.

Our family has been beyond impressed with our experience with Dr. Maxwell and the ADD SOI services. My 7 year old son has ADHD, ODD and High functioning autism and has been kicked out of his preschool, suspended 3 times in the first month of first grade, and has seen countless specialist. Aden is highly intelligent and because of his unique situation it has been extremely difficult to find someone that could treat Aden. Dr. Maxwell is the only psychologist with both the knowledge and experience to treat Aden. Not only does she have the educational knowledge but she has real life experience with her own child that has a disability. Most of the psychologist that Aden has seen don’t seem to have enough experience to understand Aden, watching how Dr. Maxwell connects with Aden is truly amazing and a testament to her vast years of experience working in the field. We never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen and her staff was wonderful with the testing portion of our visit. She explained all test results and gave us a copy of our recorded sessions so that we could go back and listen to the session for future reference. She was able to give Aden practical ways to calm himself and work through his episodes. When we need her professional advice she is always open to communicating by telephone or email and always gets back to us right away. We cannot thank Dr. Maxwell enough for everything she has done for my son and our family.

The office is located conveniently and parking is easy. Cant say much about the office staff as Dr Maxwell schedules with me directly, handles my payments & comes to the lobby to greet me at my appt time - so basically I see the staff and they're friendly, but not a factor. Dr Maxwell has never kept me waiting more than a few minutes and I have her undivided attention while we're in session - and the best part is she picks up right where we left off at the last session which makes me think maybe she reviews her file before I come in. I like that because I feel like we jump right into work and my appointment isnt spent bringing her up to speed like I've experienced with other doctors. I also like that she really listens - sometimes helping me to make connections or see patterns that I might otherwise miss. I always leave her office feeling like I've just done something wonderful for myself - shes helped me make my good life even better.

Please don't send you kids to her for counseling. She manipulates what your kids say and cause more tension. She gets kick backs from a boarding schools and will come to the conclusion that your kid needs to be sent there. I was one of these kids about 15 years ago. I was sent to 2 of these schools and met many kids that where also sent by Ms. Maxwell. Many years later when talking to my parents about the whole experience I was astounded by what she was telling them, such lies.
