Do not visit this "doctor", I don't know how he has a license. In the one session I saw him when I was dealing with my father's recent death, his response was "So you can't just get over it?". I'm not exaggerated. My jaw dropped and I told him I was shocked that was his response. Clearly I was struggling or why would I be going to therapy?!?! He is also unethical in his billing and charged me for a visit after telling me he was covered by the EAP benefits (that I submitted for in advance based on his recommendation). Save your time and sanity - Marvin Chartoff definitely won't help you with either.
The wait was absolutely ridiculous. I called left messages and neither the staff of the Dr. called me back to schedule an appointment. 2 weeks passed and did not hear back, as we all have very busy schedules, I waited to see a return phone call and never got one, though his office is extremelly convenient only one block away from home, I had to call another dr. to seek treatment about 5 miles away from home, very frustrated.e.
