I am not usually the type of person who makes a habit of leaving negative comments about people but I had a bad experience with Mr. Johnson and felt compelled to let others know about it. I will not go into details because I would just as soon move on and forget about him. Suffice it to say that I felt he conducted himself in a way that seemed very unprofessional and in fact perhaps unethical and in case reflected poor judgment. I am now fine but therapists should consider how their behavior may affect patients who are experiencing psychological problems that leave them vulnerable.

In sum, I would encourage people to seek another therapist. A much less serious problem, but one worth noting, is that he uses his apartment as his office and you have to wait in the lobby of his building or the hallway of his floor until he is finished with the preceding patient (and he often runs late). This is an uncomfortable situation which I would overlook in the absence of other more serious problems.
