Always listens to what you are say and is very interested in the goals you want to achieve for yourself in therapy. I have found Dr. B to be completely non-judgmental and accepting and can talk to him about anything. I have read some reviews of him and found them to be completely different from my experience, which makes me suspicious of them. He is a no nonsense professional who is focused on helping. He does have a strict cancellation policy which may be why others have written bad reviews. I have had to pay once and it wasn't fun, but I would not discontinue my treatment with him because of it. He is too good at what he does.

Not good. Hijacked my session on multiple occasions. When I asked him about this, he called me defensive. I told him I wouldn't be coming back to see him, and then after the fact, he texted to tell me that he was terminating our sessions, as I was obviously not ready for therapy. Good luck with Dr. Borynack.

I have found Dr B. to be the best psychologist I have seen and would now not want to go anywhere else. Easy to schedule an appointment and able to give REAL help. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been and continue to be extremely happy with the help that Dr. Zack has provided to me. I came to him at a time of desperation and he took the time to listen and understand my situation. My goals were his goals and I was able to quickly feel that I could trust him. He has a very calm and reassuring demeanor and is able to hone in on problems very quickly and specifically. I would recommend this psychologist to anyone without hesitation.

If you have diffiuclty with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues, I would highly recommend giving him a call. He is easy to reach by phone and returns calls very quickly (mine was returned within the hour). He takes insurance, but his out of pocket rates are also very reasonable. I like the fact that he has evening appointment times, as I work and do not wish for my employer to ask about weekly appointments such as this one.

Dr. Borynack is a very professional psychologist. His office is nice and comfortable, and I have always been able to schedule an appointment at a time that works for me. He does not have other office staff, but has always returned my calls in a timely manner and has been available for questions when I had them. The office is not hard to find, and is in a nice area. Dr. Borynack is a great listener and really seems to understand what I need to do to make progress and feel better. I have been impressed with his knowledge of different issues we have worked on. If you are looking for a great psychologist that will listen to what is troubling you and find ways to help you deal with/manage/fix those things then give Dr. Borynack a try. I don't think you will regret your decision.

I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen. I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately.

Over a span of 7 one hour visits, Dr. Borynack may have given me 90 minutes of professional help. He did however tell me everything about his life and family as well as his views about MD Psychiatrists versus Phd Psychologists. I dropped a small fortune in his lap and got nothing. Dr. Borynacks lack of professionalism delayed me from getting the help I needed. His behavior is an example of psychological mal-practice. I would have picked no stars above, but that option is not available.

“It is my belief that psychotherapy has the best chance to be effective when the client and therapist have a strong therapeutic alliance. That is, they have a good working relationship and are working toward exactly the same goals using methods or approaches best suited for the client. I strive to achieve this by providing a warm and safe climate, listening closely to the needs of my clients, and discussing our options and strategies.
I use a combination of methods in my practice. As I stated, my preference is to use the method best suited for the client based on their desires, situation, personality, and presenting problem. I have been known to use Cognitive-Behavioral, Interpersonal, Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic methods in my practice.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of problems and backgrounds. My areas of specialty are Depression, PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Abuse, and Relational Problems (Marital/Couples Therapy). In addition, I work with children and their parents together, teaching parents to be their child's own therapist.”
