Doctor Mercandetti is a great asthma doctor because of his duel specialty of Pulmonary and Allergy. Most Pulmonoligists know the lungs but he also understands the mechanism behind the asthma when it is allergy related. My asthma was never fully controlled until I saw a doctor with knowledge in both pulmonary and allergies. Dr takes into account my insurance coverage when prescribing medications and refills are available within 3 days. His nursing staff is helpful when emergencies arise and most have been with him for many years.

I have been with the doctor since 1990 and have referred him to my friends and family.

Most of the time my appointments prompt and quick, with a few exceptions of when he has had an emergency at the hospital.
