Every time I'm put on hold here I have to wait quite a while for them to get back to the call. Although I have had to wait longer at other places, I was still pretty unimpressed with their phone etiquette. Some of my questions were answered during the appointment, but not all. I still feel like I need to know more and the treatments are not working after a month for a simple diagnosis. Definitely getting a second opinion. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. I didn't consider their waiting area chairs to be too comfortable. I had to wait in the hallway because the waiting room was standing room only. Also I had to wait for TWO HOURS before getting called back to a room! Had two appointments and both were like this. Very unacceptable.

Yikes, I went here three times and will never return. Each time I showed up early and had to wait 45 minutes. The second visit I even called ahead to ask if they were running late so I could adjust accordingly. All assurances were they were on time...I show up, there are so many people waiting they had spilled into the hall. I ask how long the wait time and the front desk says "it's gonna be a while." Why couldn't they have told me that when I called? The third visit I requested well in advance the first appt in the morning. They said the only one available was the second. I accepted. When I arrived (early), the waiting room was already packed. I looked at the sign-in and everything became clear. There were eight people who had signed in and stated their appt time was 8 a.m. This practice majorly overbooks for each 10 minute time slot with no regard for the unsuspecting patient who does not expect their time to be so sorely wasted. My "second" appt was for 8:10 and my children and I sat there forever....again. This was just the beginning. When I finally took my child in, Dr. Mancuso was nice enough at first, but he has very poor communication skills. He looked at my son like he was a cockroach, describing his features in gross terms to try to explain he was an "allergic kid." He then went on to describe the procedure he would have to do in non-kid friendly, scary terms and said if we went that route, he looked meanly at my son and said he "would have no crying" from him. It was the same the month before with my daughter-- him saying he was going to have to get into her skin infection with a knife and dig it out. She went home terribly upset and terrified. All this scary talk because I asked what the other options beside antibiotics were. Just a question to know our options and he got visibly annoyed, brushed me off, and launched into the horrible descriptions. Any question I asked, he acted like I was wasting his time. We took the medicine, but my daughter cried every day until it was over because she was so afraid it wouldn't work and he would have to cut her arm open with a knife. I pretty much never write reviews...I am really easy to please. But I will never ever go back to this doctor. Start to finish worst experience ever. I believe there is a new dermatology practice opening up in Madison and that is where we will be headed! I imagine anything is better than this guy.
