The Skin Clinic is to Dermatology as McDonald's is to food. Just know you will not see a dermalotogist! If you're okay being seen by a nurse, the go far it. Be prepared, however, that while you're seen by one of the many PAs, you will be charged excessively as if you were actually seen by the dermalotogist. Their equipment was current, nothing special though. I wish they would update it a little more. Their staff was not friendly in the least; I really didn't feel welcome there. The chairs in their waiting room at this doctor's office weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain. I feel like my appointment was pointless. The doctor answered none of my questions, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

I was able to get an appointment with only one days' notice, as they had a cancellation. When I arrived, I was called back to be seen even before I could complete my New Patient paperwork. I say the Nurse as well as the Doctor, and was out the door BEFORE my scheduled appointment time. My prescription was waiting for me at my pharmacy. What better medical attention could one ask for? I was completely happy!

You will make an appointment thinking you are going to see a dermatologist, but actually you will see one of his physican's assistants (PA), instead of seeing a medical doctor dermatologist. They get snippy if you make a comment about seeing a PA. Your insurance is also billed as if you actually saw Dr. McCauley. The fees are excessive. I was charged $197 for office visit and then another $500 to have a small cyst removed from my back, in addition to what Health Choice paid. I think they charged me for each freckle they looked at. After returning for the followup, my stitches were removed by an LVN without either PA or doctor supervision. The nurse left part of a stitch in the incision which became infected requiring another office visit. I made an agreement to pay out the excessive charges of $697, but the full amount was turned over to a collection agency within one month. I paid the collection agency, but now have a negative collection entry on my credit report.

Absolutely not, the office was disgusting

Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in!

Not really. I had to schedule an appointment for most of my questions.
