I loooove Dr. Schmidt, she’s great caring, friendly, and thorough. On the other had, most of the office staff are grumpy. And the office is in the dark ages, no voice mail and many other problems. BUT, Dr. Schmidt is going to be working directly working for St. Luke’s! New suite in the hospital and new staff!

I love Dr. Schmidt, but the one office staff member was very rude to me. the one time she hung up on me when I called. My son is a patient there also, and she hang up on him also. She does not represent the office very well.

The 5 stars is for Dr. Schmidt, she is worth seeing as a doctor, if you can get past the office help.

I called Dr. Schmidt's office to try and set up an appointment. After wasting ten minutes of my time by putting me on hold, they ask me if I have a referral from another doctor. Seeing has how I have no insurance, and I researched my symptoms enough to make an educational guess that I need to see an endocrinologist I said no. Then they told me that I can only set up an appointment if I have a referral. So they were absolutely no help at all with anything I needed. Oh and the receptionist was somewhat rude as well. According to her the next opening for an appointment was February 15 (which I don't see why she saw it fit to tell me this) so even if I had a referral I would be sick for a whole other two weeks before anything would be done.
