Felt that Dr. was very calm methodical precise. somewhat impatient. doesn't appear to like obese people. long wait for appointments. Appears to be trustworthy and competant but not very personable.

I received care by two other doctors before Dr. Lai. He is by far the best and knows his stuff. My diabetes type 1 has been treated and monitored by Dr. Lai for the last 9 years and I continue to recommend him very highly. He does not rush appointments, explains his thoughts and recommendations and answers all questions I present. His staff is prompt and efficient; even when I leave a message requesting a new prescription I don't even have to call back to confirm they received the message. I get the prescription in the mail a few days after the call. I really trust Dr. Lai and hope you will consider him for your treatment. I have nothing to gain from this comment. I just want people who have diabetes like me to receive appropriate treatment. Good luck!!
