I was referred here by Dr. Yakubu's office; and what a disappointing first visit/impression! My frustrations aren't necessarily with the doctor, but rather, with the staff/nurses who took a week and six days to gather information from Dr. Yakubu's practice (which is no more than 7 doors down from them), and fax my medical documents over to my insurance provider for a prior authorization on a prescription that I had since run out of, from my previous doctor. I didn't know I would have to get another prior auth. for the same script once I changed doctors; FINE, but I felt as if i was an inconvenience because I heard an excuse each and every time I called to check on its status. They hadn't "gotten around to it as yet". I reminded them that the Dr. Yakubu's was in the same lot as them to try and get them to quit procrastinating. Couldn't they have simply walked over? I was finally able to pick my prescription up from the pharmacy 2 1/2 weeks later after juggling calls to Dr. Ubani, Dr. Yakubu, and my insurance company--who, when i told them how long it was taking (should have been done within 5-7 days), personally called the office and guided them through the entire process in no less than 5 minutes!
Thanks anyways for the suggestion Dr. Yakubu!

I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better.

They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. I know that they have a lot of clients here so I understand that they many not remember my name every time, but I am always really impressed when I walk in the door and am greeted by name. They always try to make the effort and for this I am grateful. They had a few different appointment times available but none were perfect for my schedule.
