Dr Holloway cancelled all my future appointments today because I called up and asked to speak to him about one of his staff that was rude over the phone to me. He’s a good Doctor. I won’t take that away from him, however it’s not good business practice to cancel patients/customers who refuse to let people treat them poorly. I guess in todays environment it’s easier to dismiss a patient as opposed to properly train office staff and/or find staff who can be both capable in their duties and an ambassador for the business. I was told the reason for the dismissal was because I was rude to staff. If they had a recording of the phone conversation nothing could have been further from the truth. The person who was rude to me must have been family or someone who has his complete confidence. I thought with the doctor/patient relationship we had he would have at least spoke to me about the situation before dismissing me as a patient. I will say this was not the first time I had a rude interaction with one of his staff so perhaps it’s for the best
