Shortly after I began seeing Dr. Maly, her office was shut down for three business days for an insurance audit. Four months ago I was contacted by my own insurance company—investigating her for insurance fraud. Initially reticent to talk with them about it, when I learned that they already had all the details from other patients, I confirmed her unethical billing practices. She sent out a letter to her patients this week indicating that she is no longer taking insurance. Coincidence? Not likely.

I'm not interested in entrusting my health to an unethical physician. Are you?

For a family doctor, they are rather cold and unfriendly. I would prefer it if they weren't so distant and impersonal. The wait is alway so long, I wonder sometimes if the office even knows I'm there! I would never send my friends or family here. I had to wait for nearly a month to find out the results of my blood tests, when after initially going there and explaining very detailed that I was lethargic and had thoughts of suicide. I would have expected the doctor to make my visit much more of a priority after divulging such information. She holds bankers hours and isn't really interested in the well-being of her patients. I transferred my files after my first visit and no I wouldn't recommend her.

All she does is type into her computer while you talk. She is not prepared with your history when you have an office visit. There was do doctoring at all. Just blood test after test. I was very surprised that they didn't want to answer my questions at all. She got rather snipity when I questioned some of her comments to me. The whole experience was odd and I am no longer her patient.
