I went to Dr. Bower in 2006. She was disrespectful and nasty. She accused me of drinking while on the medication for Grave's Disease, after doing a liver panel, but it was the meds that compromised liver function. She over medicated me, which put me in a Diabetic state, skyrocketing my Cholesterol, and causing sever Hypothyroidism, and Thyroid Eye Disease. She put me on Prednisone for me eyes, and my eye doctor said not to take it because it would make it worse. She took me off the Thyroid meds, without weaning me off. She said I was on the verge of Thyroid Storm, which was not true (I got a 2nd opinion). She told me I would have to have the radioactive Iodine treatment which would kill my Thyroid, and I would have been Hypothyroid and on medication for the rest of my life. I went to a Naturopath and healed myself, so I still have my Thyroid, and it's still functioning normally, and I am not taking any medication. She was suspended for a year.
