Dr Stark is interested in all your problems, he isnt interested in hearing your surgerie history, in fact he will probably never memorize your name. He consentrates on the issues at hand, non-judgemental. He is a very busy Man. I trust him with all my heart. He is very professional, not arrogant, if you think he is arrogant, sorry, but your probably not getting out much.
his staff is rude?
Ha! We love those ladys,( i think someone is confusing shyness with rudeness.) They have our back all the way.

I agree with several other people that have left feedback. Dr. Stark is incredibly arrogant and his staff is unorganized and not helpful. Not at all happy with my experience so far.

I would never send my friends or family here. My experience here was truly horrifying. I have never been treated so and by any doctor ever!, The office staff obviously does not like doing there jobs ! I needed a preauthorization to get my meds and the gal (Cassy) who does them basically lied and told me she had not received the notice from the pharmacy that it was denied ! In order for her to fill it out she needed the denial first ! Funny I was right there when the pharmacy faxed it to her. I called 2 days later still was told they didn't get it .. called the pharmacy again they faxed it once again while I was on the phone so I was again new it was faxed to there office ! By this time I was irritated because being lied to by a medical office is frustrating ! I drove down the next day to speak with the gal and when I walked in I as greeted with " you don't have an appointment today " no I don't gut I had to drive 40 mins because no one in this office answers the phone ! Goes to there voicemail ! Then to top it off she goes into the doctors office to discuss with him why I'm there.Doctor Starks then comes out to talk to me in the waiting room in front of patients and proceeds to ask me what " what do you want me to do " well maybe instead of discussing this in front of the entire office what I'm doing there it may of been just a little more professional to take me in your office instead Of acting like a complete Ass!! Then I leave basically in tears and end up sick and desperately humiliated because he
Refused to help me knowing id be sick and in withdrawals!! What a caring guy !! I would not take my dog to this office !!

I have never written a recommendation for anyone before, but I feel compelled to do so on behalf of Dr. Stark and his staff. I came to Dr. Stark as a referral from another doctor, and I had a major set of issues including cancer, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, a broken pelvis, and all of the issues resulting from the treatments. I have had many doctors, including a number of them at UC Davis in Sacramento, and I feel a necessity to have a high expectation for those doctors that I see. Dr. Stark was a breath of fresh air from the moment I met him. He takes his hippocratic oath very seriously and has chosen to become a doctor for all of the right reasons. It is critical that a doctor listen to his patient and not treat him like he is just another cow in the corral. Dr. Stark exhibits the highest level of caring and respect. He LISTENS to me, we discuss what is best for me, and he doesn't shove his ideas down my throat. Anyone who enters a doctors office with a list of demands and a med list to be filled truly doesn't understand a doctors job. It would be wise for a person looking for a "yes man" type of doctor to NOT see Doctor Stark, for you will not find that man in his office. He is not only a fine doctor, but also a stellar human being. His level of compassion is striking. His staff is delightful and I actually ENJOY seeing them. There is a sense of family at this practice, and I feel very at home. They are cheerful, friendly, respectful, and helpful and have often gone above and beyond for me if I need help. My family is now seeing Dr. Stark because we all agree that he represents everything that family medicine is supposed to be.Dr Stark is a has a truly compassionate heart and his integrity and caring make me know that I am in the right place.

Dr Stark and his staff have always been professional and outgoing. The staff has gone the extra mile for me when both insurance and other providers have not. I enjoy my experiences visiting their practice.
After reading the reviews posted hear I feel it is important to let people know that this is a good practice. It is my opinion that the doctor as a D.O. co-practicing substance abuse treatment is less inclined to prescribed unnecessary drugs and will encourage you towards healthy remedies to what ails you.
(My own Mother is a prescription addict; the doctors whom are liberally prescribing her meds should not be practicing medicine.)
Before you make a judgement call as to why someone lacks empathy for your condition maybe you consider that person life experiences. Of all the negative reviews I see a common denominator "me, me, me...".
Move on to your next doctor so I don't have to wait for an appointment.
I like the doctor and his staff.
