Dr. O'Connor has been seeing my two handicapped sons for over eight years. She is wonderful with them and we are so grateful to have her. Her staff is polite and helpful always.

Front staff is very rude, calling to ask a question is just unheard of, and the wait time is roughly 2 hours. You pay for the entire visit up front, $150 plus labs, THEN they bill insurance. Stupid.

I went to this doctor to get an annual pap smear and a referral for a mammogram screen. There was me and only one more patient before me--basically, the office was empty. The nurse called me in about 9:40 and took my vitals, weight, height, etc. The nurse asked me why I was there today and I said I needed my annual pap smear and an order for a mammogram. I told her I wanted my back looked at for age/sun spots to make sure there was no suspicious skin issues. The nurse informed me that I wasn't able to do that. I only was allowed one issue at a doctor's visit. I told her that seemed very silly since I'm already here and she could just take a look. Again, she reiterated that I would have to come back on a DIFFERENT day--not the same day--if I wanted to have my sun/age spots looked at. Again, I said, I'd have to do some calls and check into that . . . it doesn't seem right. I told her that, for now, we could just do the pap smear and mammogram recommendation. The nurse went out in the hallway and I heard the doctor tell her that she would not see me because I was being "contentious" and that she would NOT see me . . . period! Basically, the doctor denied me basic preventative services/health care. I asked the nurse, "Is she really going to deny me a pap smear and mammogram referral?" The nurse said she's not really denying you . . . and I said that if she isn't going to see me, that's pretty much a denial. Needless to say, I've reported her to CareSource and a couple different agencies. They are escalating the case. From my experience, do NOT see this doctor! In my opinion, she is NOT reputable and you don't need that kind of person within 5 feet of you. This was so egregious. How does a patient asking questions become "contentious?" If you are considering seeing this doctor . . . don't! See anyone else for your medical issues but do NOT go to Dr. O'Connor.

I was with Dr. O'conner for years as a family doctor.. but as soon as I developed more serious medical conditions she had her secretary turn me away and tell me not to come back

Dr. O'conner refused to talk to me herself or offer any explanation

People should know before seeing Dr. O'conner that she is banned from Medina hospital so if you go to their emergency room she is not allowed to be your doctor while you are there

I feel Dr. OCONNOR only refers you to a specialist if it is out of her scope of practice and she isn't comfortable with treating something she isn't that familiar with.

She seems very sweet when you first meet her. She is famous for referring you to chiropractors and other doctors as she does not like to treat anyone with a real illness. Everytime I go there she refers me to someone else. What kind of doctor is that. Since the new medicare guidelines she will only write your prescription for 90 days with no refill even if it is for blood pressure or siimvastatin. She is using the new law to get you to come back again and more money for her. She gets really friendly but will kick you out of her practice whenever you ask her too many questions. She hates medicaid patients and has told me so. She will make you wait extra long if you are on medicaid as she did when I was in her office. She constantly complains about filling out medical forms. A beautiful lady but in my estimation not a good doctor.

It was very easy to get a convenient appointment right away. They have a very flexible schedule and got me in quickly. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and I left feeling more than unsatisfied. I had quite a few questions - NONE of which we're left unanswered but feeling something was def. not right , I called pharmacists and other Drs. And Nurses about my problem and her explanation on why she told me the health part of Gov. Made decision that painkillers could not be prescribed for even the severest pain. I found out she was not only misleading me but actually lying to me. I was informed by pharmacist that her office was in trouble in the past and it was there was no change in drug prescriptions. She herself was refusing to treat patients pain. A Doc. Who is actually lying to her own patients and leaving them crying in pain should not be practicing What a waste! I wish I hadn't bothered to spend the time and money on this appointment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS Dr.!!
