I've seen Dr. Perkins twice, for prenatal care. I believe she probably is medically competent. But her service is terrible. Her main objective so far has seemed to be to rush me through what she wants to do, avoid any questions I might have, or argue with them when all I want to do is understand, and send me packing. She seems to have no interest or time to help me understand my own medical situation, options, and what I'm paying thousands of dollars for. Her nurses behave similarly. To compound this poor service, I have been made to wait 75 and 120 minutes past appointment time to see the Dr. Perkins - no apologies whatsoever - who then spent 12 and 4 minutes with me. Other departments at the medical center, including billing, registration, and medical records, by contrast, have been normally to very helpful.

I felt the appointment was rushed as there was a waiting room full of patients. Dr. Perkins answered my questions while she was exiting the room. She did not suggest any options for me, just "we'll just keep watching it." As this was my first appointment, it seemed a bit impersonal.

Dr. Perkins is a good doctor, but I find her a little brusque. I don't know where the last reviewer went, but the examining room I was in was very chilly. I remarked as much to the nurse, and she acknowledged that it was. When I changed into the examining gown, I put my coat over it. It was that cold in the examining room.. The nurse asked if a student could see me with the doctor. I agreed.. However, when the doctor and the student came in , the student was the one who examined me! I was too shocked to say anything. Dr, Perkins began asking me questions, which were not easy to answer while I was being examined. I was not a happy camper.
Even though I feel Dr. Perkins is a good doctor, I think I am going to shop around for another doctor..

They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly, which I've encountered at other places. I love how friendly and welcoming they are here. They always go out of their way to make me feel right at home and comfortable. The restrooms at this office were spotless. It smelled amazing in there and looked immaculate. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time.
