Needs a 0 star. Was not told they did not get in network and had to pay for exam out of my pocket. Very poor business .

my daughter in law used this doctor for ob care. She had swelling and high blood pressure. Her Mother and I neither one felt like she received sufficient care during her pregnancy. She lost the baby due to complications during the last trimester. We felt had we had a different doctor we would have had a different out come or at least a better chance to have a better out come. There was not enough testing done, such as ultrasounds to properly monitor the pregnancy. We feel like we were cheated.

I went to the office to confirm a pregnancy. The Dr never met with me, I was not prescribed prenatals, and there was no blood work done. I have never met receptionists as rude as the women who work there. After filling out my insurance paperwork my husband went to return it to the receptionist, she refused to acknowledge him (bc she was on the phone) and left my paperwork sitting on the counter for ten minutes (meanwhile patients were able to see my personal information while the signed in). My husband finally walked back to the desk and placed it behind the counter. At the end of the visit, I met with another receptionist to book my next appt., I explained to her that afternoons worked best for our schedule, to which she replied "well you will come back whenever we tell you to." I was taken aback and asked what she meant, she explained that the computer would tell me when to come in and that was that. She refused to show me when the computer made my next appointment and made me walk behind the counter to decipher the date and time on her computer! After that she told me that I also had to make an 8 week appt. I told that it was holiday season and too far away to be sure of my schedule. She replied, "then I can't guarantee that we will be able to fit you in." I have never been treated with so little respect as I was at this Dr's office.

Dr. Kimbrough is the only OBGYN in my area that is covered by my insurance. She herself is nice, but her staff for the most part aren't very polite. I also called to confirm an appointment for a surgery I am having just to double check the date, and the receptionist was clueless and said I would have to wait two days to talk to someone who would know. That is awful, why would you hire someone as a receptionist that couldn't even look up an important appointment ? I actually had to give them all of my insurance info more than one time and each time I am there they tell me that it is not in the system, and we have to spend 20~ minutes on all of that. I only go there because 1) I have to for insurance coverage and 2) Dr. Kimbrough is great.
