He has trewated me for several years now (approximately 5+) for my epilepsy. I have seen at least 3 other doctors, been to the epilepsy center at NYU in manhattan, etc. He is the only doctor that did a ambulatory EEG which gave EEG readings over anywhere from 24 hours to 3 days. His EEG tech "Mack" is wonderful and personable. Despite needing many medication changes and combinations, he changed my quality of life and gave me my life back. It was not an easy quick fix, and we even discussed VNS surgery, but finally found the right medication combination. I went from about 5 seizures a day to being seizure free for a year and a half at least. He never gave up on me, whereas I literally had another Dr. say my case was "too complicated" so I should see someone else. Among the "someone else's" that Dr. recommended was Dr. Ney. His office staff wasn't always the best but has since greatly increased the staffing's quality in the last year. I would recommend him to anyone.
