This doctor is horrible. I went there for a second review. He said "well what you want me to do". Made me cry. Can't tell you how horrible he was.

I had seizures then I found out it was anxiety disorder I took medication for 4 years for seizures. My main PCP was in shock over this. The weight time in his office sometimes was 5 hours long. Everyone in this office is rude and unexperience personal I would go else where.

Although his staff was extremely nice, I was appalled by this physician. As a registered nurse and medical professional, I was extremely disappointed. First of all, it took A MONTH to get in to see Dr Anderson. When I arrived in his office, the waiting room was filled with people who were waiting in silence because, according to the secretary, "The TV turns off at noon and we don't know how to turn it back on..." I then filled out info on their iPad. After I paid my co-pay, I looked at my receipt, and they had used my card to pay someone else's co-pay. After that was straightened out, the secretary, who told me she "used to be a medical assistant" took my vitals and handed me a clip board of papers. These papers were EXACTLY THE SAME as what I filled out on the iPad, which, apparently, no one uses. FINALLY, after waiting an hour, Dr Anderson came in. He was rude and would not listen to A WORD I said. His neuro examination could only be explained as "clown-like" or an "auctioneer-like" performance, which he found very amusing. He never asked me about what meds I was on or any other key factors about why I was there. He would ask me a question, and before I could answer, he would move on to the next, talking over me. He then told me that he was going to order a series of 4 tests and an MRI, which is definitely not the first step in my diagnosis. Let me just say this... I will NEVER be back to see this doctor. He is unprofessional and I feel sorry for his patients who don't know any better.

I was almost frightened away by this physician's poor online ratings. I am puzzled by this as I had a superlative experience. He is the best overall neurologist I have seen and I have seen many. He ordered blood tests to investigate possible demyelinating conditions, which no one has yet done and I believe are long overdue considering my symptoms. He immediately understood and verbalized my symptoms and their implications. Dr Anderson was not satisfied with merely continuing my previous therapy but instead is doing his own due diligence to find what the heck is going on with my body. I am most impressed and feel I am in excellent hands. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone who needs neurological advice/treatment. Waiting times were quite reasonable and staff was very friendly and professional; I felt welcome. Both the doctor and staff here are friendly and welcoming. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. I will be posting this on other sites. Feel free to email me - I am a real person. stasmi@yahoo.com 7/7/14

This neurologist was an idiot. I have never been so upset in my life. He never gave me a final answer as to WHAT was causing my seizures, I have ZERO idea what ended up in my medical records because the minute I ran out of insurance, he stopped seeing me. I live in Clarksville, Tennessee and the office would sort of re-locate to my city twice a week (until approx. 2 in the afternoon). I paid hundreds of dollars for the tests that I had to have at the hospital, along with the TWO sleep studies performed. I am a 27 year old female with bipolar disorder, PTSD and SEZIURES THAT NO ONE CAN TELL ME ABOUT (just the seizure part, I have a wonderful psychiatrist); in addition, I am trying to get on disability and they can't even get my MEDICAL REDCORDS FROM DR. ANDERSON'S OFFICE. I still have my $80 bill to pay there (when my insurance was dropped and I was willing to pay but, they gave me my lamictal and NEVER SCHEDULED ME ANOTHER APPOINTMENT!!! This man basically milked me for my insurance and then dropped me once he thought he couldn't make any more money off of me. Please, anyone, everyone... DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT! And, if at all possible, don't include his office in it.
