I have been a patient of Dr. Thoits for eight years.
I was a "mess" until I met him.
He changed my meds, then tweaked them, then tweaked them again.
Safety is paramount to him and his staff.
I would recommend him to anyone!
Any one who had had a bad experience with him probably does not follow his advice.
When people have Epilepsy or a seizure disorder they need to NOT drink alcohol, get their sleep, stay away from stress and take their medications RELIGIOUSLY.
Dr. Thoits is the BEST and I cannot say enough good about him.
The staff is also friendly and have excellent service.

Dr. Thoits is very impersonal and ultimately I had to go to a different neurologist to get the help I needed. Once my symptoms did not respond like he expected them to, he dismissed me. I had to push for months for more tests and it was through those tests that I ended up with a diagnosis. I went outside the Spectrum system to get opinions from different specialists on how to handle the symptoms and Dr. Thoits “respectively disagreed” with all of them. He was detrimental to my help and I decided I had to move on to a different neurologist. I would recommend staying away from him.
