Very sad experience and a very poorly run office. I'm sure at one time Dr Backman may been a good doctor but now he's not all there. He does not answer questions, gives wrong information, is impossible to track down and does not honor appointment times weather in person or it be a scheduled phone call. He races back and fourth between two offices. Twice I had office visits but my chart was at the other location, complete waste of time when you have to reintroduce yourself and explain why you are there (that's his job). His office equipment is outdated, broken, and in poor condition, especially the nerve study testing equipment. He tells a good joke (kinda) but should be heading into retirement instead of taking new patients. Another thing, it's impossible to get an appointment, might be easier if you spoke Spanish.
After Dr Backman I was lucky enough to find a first class A-1 neurologish/surgeon and could not be happier. Word of advise, if it feels wrong it probably is.
