I saw Dr.Starkey today and he was very nice. He listened to all the complaints I was having in an office and gave me a thorough exam in an examination room. We went back to the office and he explained what was going on in my head. He then walked me out. I do not understand why people give a bad review because they could not find sufficient parking or the receptionist was not to their liking. Bottom line is the doctor's care and assessment. Thatis what I care about.
Every time I'm put on hold here I have to wait quite a while for them to get back to the call. Although I have had to wait longer at other places, I was still pretty unimpressed with their phone etiquette. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I didn't mind using them but would have preferred a cleaner facility. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all.
I saw Starkey over 3 years ago after finding out that a physician i had seen a few years prior was no longer there. I got very little information from him about my condition.
This year 2011 - 2012 my condition got worse and I started searching for physicians that had experience with it and I found that David E Collins, who is in the same office as Starkey did.
I called to make an appointment with Collins and was told I could not see him as I had seen Starkey previously, I explained to the office manager that that was 3 years ago and I found Collins was mentioned in the CMT Association so I wanted to see him...my request was declined.
