I was completely unprepared for my procedure. The doctor never explained either the procedure or the recovery process. It was completely obvious that I had work done and the resulting scaring after six months is worse than the original cosmetic issue I came to see the doctor about. I learned afterward that dermatologists were using laser surgery to remove skin lesions like mine with great results and no scarring. Dr. Olivier is unaware of the advancements in laser surgery. He is not current with modern laser surgery treatment at all. I am very disappointed with my surgery and especially with Dr. Olivier. He appeared very condescending and arrogant. I am sorry I trusted him as an authority and wish I had visited a dermatologist and not a plastic surgeon.

He saved my life. His tram flap reconstruction for breast cancer was great. I wish he still lived here in Idaho, just in case. I would travel to Missouri for his services if I needed them. My hero!!

I have been under Dr. Olivier's care since 2/08, when I was diagnosed with bilateral carpul tunnel.
He has been excellent. I am very comfortable with him and he is very knowledgeable and helpful. He never complained about my employer's issues with FMLA paperwork, disability-from-work hassles, or Workmen's Comp. red tape.
I would recommend him to anyone who has a need for a top-notch cosmetic surgeon.
He also has a great sense of humor (rare these days with physicians).
