My experience was sadly VERY similar to the previous post. only we waited an hour! We had a scheduled appt, we were not a walk in or same day call, this was scheduled 3 weeks out!! We arrived early to ensure we would have all the new patient forms completed in time for our appt. I was taking my 83 year old mother to her appt, She moves very slow and has several health issues...we had an 11 am appt, sat in the waiting room until 11:35....was taken back to a room, and sat there until 12:05!! an hour past our appt. When I got up to go out to inquire if we had been forgotten, or if we were ever going to see the doc, or should we order lunch in? The staff seemed miffed!! The told me " it shouldn't be much longer" ha ha at 12:15 the doc finally came in...did his thing...he seemed nice and professional which was a plus compared to our first 65 minutes....But When I brought up the wait to him and my concern, he, the doc, said then you need to schedule first thing in the morning or just after lunch!!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!! So shove the others around and make them wait, why not try this LEARN HOW TO SCHEDULE!! If this had been an hour long delay on an airplane he would have been demanding a free drink or free upgrade or free something...ha ha right... This shows me he is only concerned with the 'puppy mill" office he is a part of!! I was also very aware that there was not any serious or emergency appts due to the office chatter we could hear from both the waiting room AND the patient room! As our first impression of this office/doc was very very poor, As a New Patient, wow, you can never redo a first impression!! Granted once he finally came in, and did his thing it was great, but the wait, and his comment wow very very unprofessional!! Here's a thought Doc, maybe your unfriendly front window girl could have said when we checked in and returned several papers and medical cards to her, " Hey we are running a little behind, feel free to grab a drink or use the rest room or something......seriously......to keep the patient at bay is extremely RUDE and very disrespectful.......

Dr. Maling is great; however, I walked out today without seeing him an hour after my appointment. His staff never called to say he was running late, I wasn't informed upon check-in that he was running late, and nobody informed me as I was waiting that he was running late. When I told someone that my appointment was 45 minutes ago, she took me into an exam room and started asking me questions. It was obvious she hadn't looked at my file, as she had no clue that I was there as a follow-up to my previous injury. She was inept (to be nice). In addition, I had a severe reaction to a medication he had prescribed me (that sent me to the hospital for 30+ hours); when I called to let him know, the person who answered the phone had no idea what to do with the information I was giving her. As I said before, Dr. Maling is great - but his staff sucks.
