This provider Advanced Vision Care/ takes advantage of the Medicare system.
If she has an elderly patient who is covered by Medicare...she makes sure she sees them often. Even when unnecessary. My mother with Dementia (the eye and the brain are not in sync)...who cannot make decisions, nor can her aide make decisions for her...my mother was given an enormous amount of Head scans to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars....for what? Did she contact my mother's health proxy (my brother) PRIOR>>??? NO she did not / she simply made these apppointments for my mother 3 and 4 week intervals...never telling any family member what the deal was...and then charges Medicare. THIS IS serious abuse or our health care system.
