I went to Kinga Michelle Huzella (Tibold), M.D. at the Frederick office of the Maryland Vision Institute; she is an exceptional ophthalmologist who made my visit outstanding.

Dr. Huzella's professionalism and attention to detail during my eye examination were impressive. She took the time to explain each step thoroughly, which made me feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. Her diagnostic skills were evident, and I felt very confident in her ability to identify and address my specific issue. I also greatly appreciated her personalized approach; she provided tailored recommendations based on my individual needs and took the time to educate me on maintaining my eye health.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Huzella to anyone seeking a skilled and empathetic ophthalmologist.

Easily one of the best experiences my boyfriend and I have had with a doctor and practice. Everyone is so personable, so professional, and Dr. Huzella is one of a kind. She is patient, kind, and cares thoroughly for each patient. Would highly recommend Dr. Huzella, as well as Maryland Vision Institute, for all of your ocular health needs!

Dr. Huzella has been taking care of my family for years. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything in detail. The office is well run, and everyone is so nice. She worked especially well with my aging mom and helped her with several eye issues including a few eye procedures. She was always patient and respectful with her as she was developing dementia. We are so grateful for all her help over the years.

I couldn't say whether the lady could help a person through an eye problem because her promotion of EyeCare for America, helping poor people afford to have eyeglasses, as I made sure everyone there understood, was my only reason for bothering them. An hour into my visit I had to ask if anyone there had figured out my simple lens prescription so I could take it and go. There must have been a meter running because I was mailed a bill that EyeCare for America posts can not be charged, for four times more than the $40 exam fee that I paid before leaving the office. Whether or not Dr. Huzella listens to reason from a patient with little money her office refused to. Still, armed with the full documentation that I kept I may turn out to be one of the lucky ones.

Everyone is very nice. Dr Stern did my cataract surgery a few years back and Dr Huzella did my laser and my eyelid surgery. I am very pleased. I can see without glasses for distance perfect. My lids were so heavy and in the way. Dr Huzella did such a nice job. They do not block my vision anymore and it looks so nice. She is so considerate and kind.

I came to Maryland Vision Institute and saw Dr. Holland and Dr. Huzella. I was having issues with glaucoma not being controlled and narrow angles. Dr. Holland put me on glaucoma drops and then Dr. Huzella did a laser procedure. I was very nervous at first, but the doctors and staff were so friendly and caring. My surgery went well without any pain. My eye pressures are very good now and my vision has cleared up as well. I am very grateful for these doctors. Praise the Lord!

My name is Leeward Tryson. I served my country un the US Navy on submarines from 1962–1968.

Due to medical reasons, my wife and I moved from PA to MD in March 2020. Our oldest daughter set up an in-law apartment on ground level at her home.

The VA had been taking care of me for a long time. There were medical items that I needed completed on a timely schedule. One thing I needed every three months were Botox injections for control of blepharospasm. Because of the pandemic I couldn't see the VA ophthalmologist. Community-Care found MD Vision Institute—Every now and then I get lucky. They did a complete eye checkup and exams. They did tests that I don't remember ever having. The entire staff of the Frederick Office was pleasant and professional. I was seen by Dr. Michelle Huzella along with her tech—Lauren. They were both professional, pleasant, and seriously fun to talk to.

MD Vision Institute have been taking care of my eyes since June 2020. The VA have issued them a PO not only for basic eye care and the Botox injections, but they also have completed cataract surgery in both eyes, and the upper eyelids were cut back so my eyes open wider.

As long as the VA keeps issuing them purchase orders—I will continue seeing Dr. Michelle Huzella and the rest of the staff.

My experience at Maryland Vision Institute has been nothing short of spectacular. I had my LASIK eye surgery done here and all the doctors and staff that I worked with were extremely kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Huzella worked with me personally to make sure that I was a good candidate for the surgery, and to ensure that I would be happy with the post-op results. My vision is perfect and I cannot believe I waited so long to have LASIK. The process was well organized and straight forward. I am looking forward to coming back in the future.

Dr. Huzella has been my Ophthalmologist for years. She is thorough, personable, and professional. The office staff is helpful and makes you feel welcome. My family and I know we always receive the best possible care. I love my glasses. I would follow Dr. Huzella anywhere!

Dr. Huzella is amazing. She has been my doctor for years. I've seen her at both the Hagerstown and the Frederick office and all of the staff is always so welcoming. She is really kind and caring, one of the best doctors I have seen. 10/10 highly recommend.
