I have Crohn's disease and it's almost always in remission. I had a flare up with a LOT of pain, and I went to Dr. Murray for help. She told me that she wouldn't treat it. I couldn't believe it! I have never heard of a Doctor that wouldn't treat pain. She said that she would order a colonoscopy to see what was wrong, but that I would have to deal with the pain without help from her. I was so upset. I can't imagine going to a doctor and having her refuse to treat your symptoms. She told me that she doesn't treat symptoms, she treats the problem. I don't understand why she can't treat the problem and treat the symptoms at the same time. Avoid this doctor. You'll be glad that you did.
