*My experience over the last several months with the staff at both office locations has been overwhelming positive. Both facilities are patient friendly with the Mokena Office appearing to step off the page of an architectural digest. Far more important than the facilities or the office staff is the Doctor himself. Prior face-to-face experiences with other surgeons have left me with negative impressions of surgeons, but that is Not the case with Dr. Fakouri! *Dr. Fakouri, a uniquely quiet, calm, caring man is a rare gem in the field of people ... and surgeons! The doctor talks to you not at you. As the patient, you are involved in proposed treatment plans. The doctor listens to your concerns and takes the information into consideration when proposing next steps. *This doctor encourages questions and he means it. Dr. Fakouri will explain and reexplain until you understand and until he is confident that you truly do "get it." If it helps, Dr. Fakouri will illustrate, whether it be with his own sketch or via a short video he's created. *When my son needed a hand surgeon, Dr. Fakouri was the only one we would consider, so we drove 20 hours to see this doctor. After the doctor explained to us what would transpire during the reattachment surgery, my son, having special medical needs, told the doctor the problem he saw with what was proposed. Dr. Fakouri carefully listened, asked more questions, and said he would be mindful of the situation during surgery. Post-op, it was apparent the doctor truly listened since he utilized a different technique during reconstruction to meet the concerns of the patient. ***My bottom line, Dr. Fakouri is the person and specialist you need to see. He's well versed in current medical breakthroughs in his field and applies to his craft.

The staff at the front desk are knowledgeable and helpful, especially when I had trouble filling out some of the paper work. Same goes for the kind ladies working the x-Ray machine both times I was in. They were NOT impatient, and were easy to talk to making it feel more comfortable. Dr. Fakhouri is excellent in customer service , and knowledge of human anatomy with a great personality and a sense of humor! :-)

Dr Fakhouri and his staff performed a carpal tunnel release and far exceeded my expectations. I feared having the surgery for years until the pain radiated up through my shoulder. Dr Fakhouri was a referral from Dr William Ennis who I trust. My surgery was painless and my recovery was incredible. I literally had no pain or discomfort at any point after the surgery. I have recommended Dr Fakhouri many times as the best in the business.
