I had my left hip replaced on February 14, 2014 at the age of 44, by Dr. Brian L. Sullivan MD.. I have never had any relief from the pain, hip locking up for no reason, being constantly uncomfortable, not being able to walk because since the surgery, my sciatic nerve has really given me troubles w/my hip, knees, lower back, ankles/feet, the other hip, & toes.. My legs from the knee down to my toes are numb, have very poor circulation, black/blue in color, & hurt really bad, and that all came on right after the surgery..
I've had appointments right after the surgery, 6 months after, & 1 year after the hip replacement, just to bring all the troubles to his attention hoping that he would do something about it like make it right, find out why, & instead of putting me down & treating me like I'm crazy, & making me just a number, not a person that helped him pay his bills, he was very cocky when I went in to the office, but didn't do anything for me except give me a couple cortisone shots & then sent about my way.. The shots did absolutely nothing for me, but he didn't try anything else to try to make me feel good and with no pains.. I really wish that he would have listened to me, heck I might of been okay (good to go).. I hate feeling like this w/this hip, barely getting around, no hiking (at all even trails), no horseback riding, no motorcycle riding, I can't hardly do oil changes on my truck or wife's car because it hurts to bad getting up & down from under the vehicles (I have to have something to pull myself up).. I wish things could have been different for me, and I am just one person with these complaints, others may/will have a totally different story.. He has a great reputation for what he does in his profession, & I'm sure that people can't just make that up, so please don't let what happened to me & what I have said change your thoughts of going to Sullivan or someone else..
