Dr Yun is an excellent doctor. The first appointment with him was very reassuring. He explained all aspects of the anterior hip replacement. He listened to all my questions, and answered all of them, no matter how trivial. His staff is wonderful, very professional, always quickly following up on any inquiries. Dr Yun visited every day in the hospital. He quickly contacted me whenever I had any questions or problems. I was impressed when he called to see how I was, and offered to help with any problems. I have rheumatoid arthritis, and that and the medication taken for it did have an effect on my recovery.

IT'S BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS SINCE I HAD KNEE SURGERY (COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS A PARTIAL KNEE REPLACEMENT ALSO KNOWN AS PATELLA-FEMORAL KNEE REPLACEMENT). I HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN SEEN BY TWO OTHER ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS WHO BOTH FELT I DID NOT NEED THIS PROCEDURE. (MAINLY DIFFICULTY GETTING UP FROM A SITTING POSITION) A PHYSICAL THERAPIST RECOMMENDED DR YUN. WHEN I SAW HIM AND TOLD HIM MY SITUATION HE SAID, "NO PROBLEM". AFTER AN XRAY, HE MADE A QUICK SKETCH AS HOW HIS PROCEDURE WOULD WORK AND THAT I'D BE STANDING THE DAY AFTER SURGERY. WELL, IT'S BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS AND MY KNEE IS STILL NOT AS GOOD AS IT WAS PRIOR TO SURGERY. I HAVE MORE DIFFICULTY GOING UP AND DOWN STAIRS THAN BEFORE SURGERY. THE BIG PROBLEM WITH DR YUN IS HE DOESN'T LISTEN! HE'S PROBABLY A CAPABLE SURGEON BUT HE IS SO BUSY WITH SO MANY PATIENTS, HE DOESN'T LISTEN CAREFULLY AS THE TWO OTHER SURGEONS I PREVIOUSLY VISITED. I AM REALLY SORRY THAT I HAD THIS PROCEDURE WITH DR YUN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!
