Last week I was sent by my new employer for a pre-employment drug screen. I was sent to a newly established occupational health clinic in Leominster. Gateway Chiropractic & Occupational Health Center. Who do I find opened this clinic none other than Dr. James Barassi. I initially saw Dr. Barassi after I was sent to him by Leominster Hospital Take Charge a couple years ago. I was injured in a work comp accident and was forced to go to Leominster hospital. The absolute worst place ever. The nurse practitioners are mean, crass and obviously hate their job. They did nothing for me except feed me pain medication for weeks. On one appointment I had there I told them how much the medication was causing me constipation and making me feel horrid. Linda the NP there didn't care until I told her I wasn't coming back. She then sent me to see Dr. Barassi. This was the absolute best thing ever since after 3 visits with Dr. Barassi, I was back to my old self and back to work. What he did for me in 3 visits the nurse practitioners at Take Charge couldn't do for me in 4 weeks. Dr. Barassi is one of the most knowledgeable, intelligent, compassionate doctors I've seen in all my years. The best news is I found him again! If you're ever injured in a work comp cut to the chase and just go to him. DON'T by any means go to Take Charge at Leominster Hospital.

One of the best providers I've seen in all of medicine combined. Knew more about my condition than did many of the medical doctors I've seen. By far the kindest and most compassionate doc. My advice to you if you live in pain... find him, see him, he can change your life.

Definitely! They made an extra effort to keep me well informed.
Does this provider leave you on hold for a long time when you call?
Never! I don't think I've ever been put on hold here for a long time
Did this chiropractor discuss your X-Rays with you?
Yes! I was given all the information I needed without having to ask
Did you experience excessive stiffness after visiting this chiropractor?
Definitely not! I felt fantastic when I left!
Did this provider wear an obnoxious cologne?
Not at all, their cologne smelled great
