I wouldn't recommend Dr. Amleto to anyone that is looking to add quality to the years of their life. If you are looking for a doctor to work with you and take your concerns seriously, it is not him. His agenda and bias drives his care. As someone who works for you he doesn't work with you. His view on men's health needs are fixed in the 1950's and rather than actually listening is he is just trying to push that model at you. His patient summaries are where you will find his passive aggressive descriptions of encounters. I have multiple misquotes that I never said (because they weren't actual or true). He has lied to me about the required numbers for health plans to start medicating conditions related to lab values. He has shown more concern about me getting a flu shot more than my high HgA1C, just because I might get someone else sick. It was at that point I realized he had his own agenda and really didn't care about my health concerns. I have 30 years of working with all disciplines of doctors. Many are down to earth and easy to talk to. There are are a handful of ones that are difficult to work with. Those are the ones who have said "you're not the one who went to medical school" just because they need to let you know any discussion is over. That is the type of doctor Mario is. I really don't know what type of recommendation I would give him. Initially I thought nursing home director but then I thought of end of life care and realized that he isn't suited for that either.

Not at all! They are always respectful and courteous!
