I found the surgical procedure for my torn meniscus, with Dr. Silver to be outstanding. He thoroughly explained the procedure before surgery, explained the results after, and returned my post-operative phone call in a timely fashion. He is knowledgeable, thorough, respectful, and professional. I recommend this Doctor and his surgical center in Hackensack to all.

This review is long overdue, I underwent surgery back in October 2014 with Dr Stephen Silver for a partial shoulder replacement. First, I was told by two other Doctors that my condition was too complex for them to perform, I was referred to Dr. Stephen Silver by one of the other doctors.
Upon meeting Dr Stephen Silver and his staff I received first class treatment. From appointment scheduling to consult I was treated with courteous respect and was made to feel comfortable in every appointment leading up to surgery.
The surgery was as success, I have full use and mobility of my arm which I did not have prior to surgery. Dr Stephen Silver and his team performed an intense 6 hour surgery: they repaired my Labrum, performed a bone graft and implanted a head implant in my shoulder. After surgery Dr Stephen Silver called me personally the next day to see how I was feeling. A year of therapy later I have full use of my shoulder, Thank You Dr. Stephen Silver and staff. I highly recommend Dr Stephen Silver for any orthopedic health issues.

Great doctor.
The front office staff were constantly rude and combative. Not all but one in particular who answers phone and schedules visits, need to understand that the patients are the doctors business.
Several times,either being put on hold, not called back in a timely manner or just downright combative.
A friend asked me who did my surgery, since I was so happy about the outcome, and I actually suggested they look for another surgeon, because I felt they would be treated better by another's staff.
