This clinic was highly recommended by Holy Name, so my wife and I went to our appointment with our 5-day old newborn in tow. When we walked in, no one greeted us and stood in front of two receptionists. They seemed to be busy, so we patiently waited. After a few minutes, I was getting irritated and told them to check us in.

The wait was not long and Dr. Zajkowski came in. After the initial greetings, the first thing he noted was that he liked to see his patients throughout the course of their childhood and asked us whether we were comfortable with that. Otherwise, we were welcome to leave. Already irritated, I told him that we will most likely not be coming back since the place really wasn't welcoming and explained our first impressions. He was apologetic and proceeded to check our daughter.

Dr. Zajkowski was quite knowledgeable but a bit uncaring. Throughout the check-up, he kept mentioning that the clinic was quite prestigious, noting the celebrities and NBA players that go there. Add to that, he kept noting that our baby stroller was top-end (not sure what the relevance was aside from stability).

After the check-up, we had to feed our daughter who was now incessantly crying. The doctor bid us goodbye and told us to take our time. Two minutes after, one of the receptionists told us to pack up because they needed the room.

This is not the first time my wife and I have gone through this and it wouldn't be the last. We're experienced enough to know the difference between busy and indifference. We can well afford whatever they charge, but we aren't looking for an "elite" clinic or doctor. We just wanted somebody who cared about our daughter and her well-being enough for us to trust them. This place didn't meet that and we wil not be coming back.

From the other reviews, maybe they do care for other peope, but maybe not for the like of our family. On the ride home, I kept telling my daughter that they didn't need us since they were busy caring for celebrities and other people. From the look she gave, she didn't seem to care for them either.
