aside from what is happening with him now and dont believe it for a second, he has always been there for me. He does not try and push meds on you , in fact the opposite. He will only give you something if he truly believes it is necessary. You did have to wait long for an appointment but what doctor will spend at least 45 min to 1 hour to go over and understand your problems(He will).
After being a patient of this practice for 15+ years, I now find myself without a doctor (his partner left to start her own practice, never notified). Then indictments(no wonder my lab costs were over $3000 for routine bloodwork) and now I have no idea where my medical records are. The office is locked up tight and there is only a message at the phone number with no way to reach anyone.. Who has our records? The state?? I filed a complaint with the NJ State Board of Medical Examiners to try and find out where the medical records are, so hopefully I can get my hands on them and find a new doctor...
Unable to get an appointment for over a month. Staff reports they are leaving a note for the doctor to get back to me and so far he has not called me. Staff hung up phone twice on me after I told them they were speaking to me with an attitude. How can a doctor not call back his patients or have his nurse call a patient back? This is definitely an unprofessional and unorganized practice. I will be finding a new physician.
I went there in feb.for a lump in my throat the office personal never contacted my insurance company for approve to get a cat scan.I went to the jersey shore to er to get one. And when i was trying to get an appoinment for the Doctor to sign off for my surgery they couldn't fit me in anywhere for a month. I was with them for 20 years. i would love to give no star!!
OFFICE IS CLOSED. Building is vacant. Very unprofessional way of doing business. Patients never informed about where to get medical records from. Phone rings, but no one picks up. I feel sorry for the poor patients that are very sick and need prescriptions refilled and their medical records urgently. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSAFE BEHAVIOR FOR A PHYSICIAN!!
I have been calling this office for two weeks now -- recording states closed due to emergency - I dialed "1" for assitance and two times was told they had a fire. Many days later still the same recording. I called again - this time I was told a pipe burst. Went to the bank next door to drs office and was told all the patients are calling them to find out what is going on. All I need is a perscription refill called in to my pharmacy. Had left 4 messages for a doctor to call this in - never a response to pharmacy or to me. NOW when you call office it's the same recording, but when you press "1" for assitance you get a fast busy signal and that is it. The note on their door says "closed TODAY due to an emergency". I believe the office has been closed for more than two weeks now.
Sadly this office has been going downhill for a very long time and I think it is time for a new primary care physician. Sorry Dr. D -- you are great but your office is awful.
In short, the Doctor is very good but the staff is the opposite. The walk-in wait time is many hours! You should only do a walk-in if it's absolutely necessary. The staff can care less about your wait and seem unorganized.
