My daughter went to Nu Vela Esthetica for facial veins around her eyes and temples after researching countless doctors throughout Orange and LA County. She couldn't find anyone who used lasers only did injections which carries a risk. She spoke so highly of this office, so I went and had forehead and temple veins lasered. Also, veins on my chest area treated with sclerotherapy. I cant believe after one treatment how 95% of the veins are gone. This is the first time I feel comfortable without wearing heavy bangs or shirts that cover my veins. I am so impressed with Dr. Dishakjians knowledge/skill-set. Additionally, the compassion both the doctor and Syliva showed was unsurpassed! One feels like they are family. This office hasn't forgotten the human element of patients. I would highly recommend anyone considering vein treatments to at least have a consultation with the doctor before you make a decision anywhere else, as he is amazing and you will be so happy with the results! I drove from Orange County and will do it again if I ever need vein treatment. I highly recommend this office and would give them a 10 star rating if I could! Since I was 25 year-old I had these varicose veins all over my legs. Since then I had been in dermatologists that nothing worked. And I could not use shorts on summer time because of it. Finally I met Dr. Raffi Dishakjian and I never regret it. He is an amazing dermatologist after 3 or 4 visits my veins disappear totally. I do recommend this great Dr. for skin care. Thank you Dr. Raffi now I can use shorts on the summer. He is very passion and his work is 100% guaranty.For skin care take Dr. Raffi and you never regret it.

I came her to remove a sun spot next to my right eye. It was the size of a pea and had been there for about five years now.
Dr. D was very professional throughout the entire process. He answered all my questions during the consultation and even gave me alternative options should I choose not to have the procedure done.
The procedure went pretty much just like he said it would. Virtually no pain, just some tickling and scratching feeling. After one treatment, the sun spot has dramatically faded. Good work Nu Vela Esthetica!

Vein problems run in my family. Several years ago I had my spider and blue veins treated for the first time with sclerotherapy. Although I am not a wuss when it comes to needles, the experience was quite painful and the visible improvements were short lasting and mediocre at best. What made matters worse is that I developed brown pigmentation over the treated veins. These lasted almost a year!! What a disappointment. I was told it had happened because of my darker (olive) skin color.

Anyway, it was with this baggage that I went to Nu Vela for a consultation. A friend of mine had recommended the place but I was quite skeptical. First of all, the minute you walk in you get a pleasant vibe about the place. It is tastefully done but not over the top. The staff was pleasant and respectful. Dr. 'D' as he is known in the office was informative, empathetic to my prior experience and took his time to show me a lot of his before/after patient pictures. I guess having sensed my skepticism, he even offered to do a free test area on my upper thigh. I figured that was thoughtful and considerate. He also took detailed pictures of the area before the treatment, so that we could compare it later. I thought that was reassuring. Three weeks later the area showed amazing improvement. The pain of injection was minimal and there was minimal pigmentation.

Six weeks and two sessions later I could say my legs look at least 90% better than before. And I did have a mix of blue and spider veins. Although I did not particularly care about wearing the compression stockings in the middle of the summer, the results were well worth it. I would definitely recommend this place. They deliver what they promise. The prices are reasonable too.

Nu Vela Esthetica is a beautiful Center with a nice smell. The doctor at the Center, Dr. Dishakjian is knowledgeable and offers professional service. The receptionist, Jessy, is kind and welcoming. Just an overall awesome experience!

I had leg varicose veins, which had bothered me for years. Dr. Dishakjian used a procedure called EVLT to treat my veins. This advanced technique for varicose vein removal really worked. My legs look like I never had varicose veins before, and I don’t suffer from pain anymore.

I should admit that now that by bulging veins have gone, I feel much more confident about myself. I strongly recommend Dr. Dishakjian and the Center, Nu Vela, to anyone who has varicose veins. Why not visit the Center to get a professional consultation! It is offered free.
