Avoid this Psychologist at all costs. It is my belief that he himself is in need of Psychotherapy. He calls himself a Christian Psychologist, yet is accusatory, assumes people are lying to him, and is unforgiving. I was seeing him in 2011-2012 through a referral from my primary care physician. In December of 2012 I had an appointment which I scheduled with him that day because I was having a severely stressful reaction to an event in my life. At the beginning of my appointment, he accused me of giving him a negative review on something he called "wellness". I insisted that I had done no such thing and had no clue what "wellness" was. He argued with me very angrily for about 10 minutes before forcing me swear on a Bible that I had not left the review. I did as he requested and then left his office, never to return. It has taken me all this time to find "wellness". I have looked at all of the reviews here and cannot find anything negative from the time period that I was seeing him.

This time, I am leaving a poor review in the hope that nobody goes through what I did. It was a very frightening and uncomfortable experience for me. I have Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder and Agoraphobia as well. Confrontation is not easy for me. After leaving Dr. Woods' office that day, I had a severe panic attack and fell into a deep depression for several weeks. As a trained Psychologist, Dr. Woods should have known better than to treat a patient such as myself in such a way.

Dr. Donald Woods is an absolutely brilliant counselor, truly an expert of wise comport. His approach to marital issues is sound and applied with decades of experience. I would recommend Dr. Woods to any couple in need.

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!

I feel confident with their process in healing the mind, soul and essentially, the body as well... so thankful this service is available at this time in my life. I am learning a lot about myself and my spouse. I can only be accountable for my experiences and successes while working with Dr. Woods. The rest of the successes would be a huge bonus!! They are a blessing in my life right now.

This doctor is amazing. I had two appointments with him for a psychological evaluation which involved a custody case. He made a report and it was like he's known me for 10 years. He didn't pull any punches, mind you, and was brutally honest about my flaws, however, it was a great experience. He also has very high moral standards, which is refreshing. I highly recommend him.

Both Don and Joan became a huge part in the healing process of my marriage! They care about their clients and are blessed with helping others come out of a place of darkness and into a place of healing light. I am forever grateful for the wise insight both Don and Joan have brought to me and my husband.
