" I have been a patient at this office for several years and find the physician to be knowledgeable and professional. Appointment wait times are average and the staff is friendly and helpful. I read a previous comment about billing issues and wanted to express my experience was exactly the opposite. I overpaid on my account for my deductible and contacted the office regarding a refund. My check was sent promptly and without questions. I have referred several friends to Dr. Richie who have indicated equally positive experiences with this office"

Dr. Richie seems to have been capable of performing the exam she did for me, although her charges compared to the exact same exam by another neurologist seemed excessive. I don't have particular issues with her ability.

Her billing dept. is less than honest. I paid the balance of my co-pay by debit card. Big mistake. After accessing my account, they DOUBLE billed me. I brought this to their attention. They said they'd get back to me the next day. I waited 8 days and had to call back. They admitted they'd done it and would make it right.

1 month later, still no refund. I called them. They said they'd paid it. Called my bank, they said no attempt had been made by them. Called Dr. Richie back. They said, "Too bad."

Basically? I'm out $114. Dr. Richie doesn't want to hear about my little problem.

Word to the wise: DO NOT give these people access to your account by debit card. You'll be sorry and you will have no recourse. Do not under any circumstances, trust them.

I have been satisfied with my visits to date. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. I had to wait about six weeks to get a first appointment but I eventually got in. Staff here is friendly and helpful. Dr. Richie spent a considerable amount of time with me, and I left feeling we had developed a real doctor-patient relationship.
