Unfortunately for Dr. Gorab, the front office staff has provided such poor customer service that I will be leaving. We have a PPO and always came on time to our doctor's appointments. However, this time I called 3 times to update them on my ETA. I was 17 minutes late and the staff member with the short curly hair told me that "Dr. Gorab is refusing to see you". The "refusing to see you" statement did not sit well with me. She told me Dr. Gorab was waiting for her next patient and if they do not show up, then she would be willing to see me. I asked her if she isn't seeing anyone why can't she see my daughter? (Side Note: we waited 45 days for this appointment- my daughter was 47 days overdue for her immunizations). She said that she is with someone and couldn't see her. At this point, her story didn't match and caught in a lie. She was unwilling to assist me. Nevertheless, the next appointment came 15 minutes late (I was waiting for 29 minutes at this point) and the staff member said, "Yeah, they are here so she refuses to see you." I have never been treated so poorly by a medical office. I told her that I would be switching doctors and she said, "okay". Maybe she needs customer service training, because this is not the first time she was rude. Following this, I went to Coastal Kids in Newport Beach and LOVE THE STAFF! Thank you to Coastal Kids for making a difference in my medical provider.
