I only went to see Dr Castellano once but I will definitely never return. My experience with her office was horrible. First off I had to wait 1 1/2 hours past my appointment to even see the doctor with no explanation or apology. Her exam and the proposed treatment for my skin problems was OK, but I was a bit underwhelmed by her impersonal bedside manner.

Then the whole experience took a drastic turn for the worse when one of her office workers mistakenly submitted my prescription request to both the local RiteAid (where I had requested) and an online prescription company. The office supposedly canceled the online order, but a few days later I received notification that the prescription was shipped and I owed $100! The online pharmacy said that once the medicine was shipped, there was nothing they could do about it and even if I returned the medication unopened, I would still have to pay $100.

Dr Castellano's office refused to accept any responsibility for the error, even though I had confirmation from the online company that her office had not followed the correct process to successfully cancel the order. Dr Castellano also refused to reimburse me the $100 for the medication that I did not authorize and that was sent to me because of their office's mistake. This shows a complete lack of responsibility and is unacceptable.
